If you have a problem with that headline, all I can say is that Anne started it. But if you don’t understand what I’m talking about, we should probably get on to the news. Here’s what happened today.
Meet Hammond the space hamster
After all of yesterday’s unexpected excitement, today really has been a quiet day. There isn’t even any Overwatch League to watch, which is making the evening feel a little empty, too. (Sure, HCT and HGC have events this weekend, but after an action-packed season of OWL, that doesn’t feel like much.)
But instead of bemoaning our lack of things to do, let’s look at what’s happening on Blizzard Watch today. (Spoiler: Not much, and none of it’s all that new.)
Blizzard ke...

Another Tuesday where absolutely nothing has happened, where I can just kick back, do some farming, level some professions... Er, wait. You're telling me something did happen? Lots of somethings? Well, we'd better talk about that, then.
World of Warcraft is gearing up for the expansion
Finally, Anne has answered my most important Battle for Azeroth question: which adorable animals can I pet in-game? The answer, of course, is not enough. But still, it's an important question and I'm glad we finally have it answered. So let's take a look at that and the rest of the news from our favorite games.
A very important gallery of things you can and cannot pet in Battle for Azeroth
There wasn't much in the way of news today, but there is a lot going on in our favorite games this weekend (by which I mean Warcraft, obviously). So let's talk the news and then take a look at our weekend to-do list.
We're ready for new Diablo lore
It's been a while since I've raided Ahn'Qiraj (or done the opening event), so I can look back at it (and its dumb achievements) with nostalgia. But if the event comes back around in WoW Classic, you can bet I will be back on the hate train.
And, yes, this is all to set up an obscure joke that is probably only funny to me. (Also the joke may only work on the actual BW website, because I can't do strikethroughs on Patreon.) I apologize.
So let's get on to the news, shall we?

When Legion was announced at Gamescom, minds were blown. Every spec for every class would gain an immensely powerful Artifact, the ultimate weapon for our battle against the Burning Legion. Some included the most famous weapons in the World of Warcraft universe: Ashbringer, Doomhammer, and Frostmourne (or what’s left of it).
At first glance, we were all incredibly psyched. It sound...

World of Warcraft isn’t an epic fantasy game about fighting demons and monsters and sometimes each other. It’s about looking good. Sure, sometimes you want to look good while you’re fighting demons and monsters, but you also want to look good when you’re AFK in Dalaran or chilling out in your class hall.
And that, of course, is what transmog is for. So let’s take a look at today’s news, by which I mean today’s transmog news, which is definitely the only news that matters...

Whew, we’ve all survived another Monday. Farewell, Monday! You will not be missed. (Especially since next Monday will come around all too soon.)
But with Monday rapidly coming to a close, let’s talk games, and the playing and not playing of them. Okay, of course we’re going to play them, but…
The path ahead for Anduin
This week our Lore Watchers Anne, Matt, and Joe dive right into a pretty lengthy discussion about Christie Golden’s newest novel, Before the Storm. What do the events of the novel mean for both Alliance and Horde, and how does it lead in to Battle for Azeroth? Please note: Events in the novel Before the Storm are discussed in detail. If you’re avoiding spoilers, you may want to come back to this one after you’ve read the book yourself!
For Patrons, we're happy to give yo...

Classic WoW news! We have classic WoW news!
Hello, my Blizzard-watching family and friends. As you may have noticed, we are trying to grow our team, so if you are get hype about Blizzard games I encourage you to apply! Warning: must be able to tolerate Mitch and Rachelle’s ongoing Priest war.
But enough about us, because there’s news to talk about. We had

It’s the last week of the last stage of Overwatch League, and everyone’s playing for keeps. It’s probably too late to expect a win by my favorites, the Shanghai Dragons, but I live in hope (even though they’ve just lost pretty convincingly against the Gladiators). You can tune in yourself to watch teams fight for their playoff spots.
But here’s the news of the day outside Overwatch.

Who’s ready for a roundup? I hope you are, because it is roundup time. Roundup!
… yeah, okay, I don’t know where I was going with that. Let’s get to the news.
Before the Storm is out today
Except for all of that noise about E3, which, for some reason, a lot of you are super hyped about. But in the world of Blizzard, things are pretty peaceful... at least for now. There's a lore-centric Warcraft E3 panel on Wednesday at 11am PT and there's a Q&A with Ion Hazzikostas on Thu...

A lot has happened this week, and it’s not even over yet. So instead of wasting time with an introduction that you probably don’t care about, let’s jump in to the juicy stuff: the news.
(And yes, I am ignoring my total inability to adhere to a schedule this week. I’m going to blame it on Mitch, which I think makes perfect sense.)
Battle for Azeroth is going global

Apparently it is Tuesday and I'm not really sure how that happened. If you tune in regularly, you've probably noticed a time-related theme to these roundups because my relationship with time is tenuous at best. The passage of time is mysterious and complicated and I'm pretty sure that I will never understand it.
But since I managed to skip a day, let's jump straight to the news.
Before the Storm is due out next week!

This week our Lore Watchers Anne, Matt, and Joe take a look at not one but two new comics from Blizzard in preparation for Battle for Azeroth. Jaina: Reunion fills us in on Jaina Proudmoore’s whereabouts during Legion, while Magni: The Speaker gives us a closer (and kind of heartbreaking) look at the former king of Khaz Modan. Both are discussed in detail, and then it’s off for a trip to the mailbag to address some of your reader emails.
For Patrons, we're happy ...

I don't know how it's the end of the day, much less the end of the week. But somehow it is, and so we're going to take a look at today's news as well as a look back on the week.
It's a tough grind to get 100 exalted reputations
June has arrived, and for the life of me I can’t figure out how. But it’s here and there’s no escaping it: we simply have to deal with the horrors of summer. Ugh.
What? You’re saying summer is good? Well, gentlefolk, we will have to agree to disagree on that one, because it is hot enough here to leave me melting on my keyboard, and “melted” is never my desired state.
Anyway. Enough of that. Let’s talk about the news.
No we aren’t writing Soldier 76 ...

If you read the Queue, then you know that my grand plan for the day was to hide under my desk to avoid both people and work obligations. (You may not see me under there, but that's only because I'm stealthy.) Neither are working out very well, but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop trying. So, live from under my desk, here is the latest in Blizzard news.

I'm already getting reports that it is not, in fact, Monday. It just feels like Monday. A really long Monday. Anyway. Let's move beyond the weirdness of time and space to talk about what's been happening in the world of Blizzard.
I'm not crying, you're crying
