The conversation about Final Fantasy Dragoons seemed really strange to me - different games will co-opt real-life terms in very different ways, and saying that all versions of "dragoon" are just Arms Warriors confused me. The FF Dragoon shtick is essentially aerial combat - high and/or long-distance leaps to drive a spear home. Sure, Heroic Leap with a polearm is reminiscent of that, but there's a pretty wide gulf between that and being a FF Dragoon. I agree, though, that WoW doesn't seem to be moving in that direction. I do dig all the polearm-wielding NPCs we've seen, though, especially with asymmetrical armor, as well as spear+shield. I look forward to more of it, and hopefully we'll have such things in our hands as players.

2018-06-28 21:50:14 +0000 UTCIt'd be awesome if we could get a Patreon rss feed for the uncut podcasts. I've switched from using a Mac with iTunes to download episodes and load them on an iPod to using a podcast app on Android and I can't figure out to listen to the uncut episodes in the app.
