Update and apology

Hi patrons. First off, I need to apologize for it being dead here. I've been neglecting posting here because I've been so focused on finishing the VN since we're on the last leg of development. I have had no real content to show for a while, only WIPs, and I've tended to post things more on the Telegram channel and on Bsky because they're faster than putting out posts here.

VN Release date/timeline update:

We're gunning for a late July release as a stretch goal, but we can officially say that the window for release (for sure) will be between late July and mid-August. We've got lots of QA and polish ahead to make sure what gets into everyone's hands is the best version it can be of itself.

All art assets (our character dolls, specifically) will be finished by the end of this month, which will 100% complete all of the episode 1 assets. Delays don't feel good, but the upside here is that wh...

VN Episode 1 Title Screen

Wonderful background artwork from Reo Snep. This will ultimately be lightly animated in the final product, and will immediately transition into scene 1 when the player hits start. (Obviously, if load/options are selected, you'll go to those instead.)

VN Dev updates!

Hi everyone! Time for an update. Thank you for continuing to subscribe while everything is in production mode. I know it's not the most exciting and it's a bit of a content drought.

I finished the second draft of the first episode today. I will complete draft 3 by the end of this month, and in between when I'm writing, I'm working on various graphic design assets that the game needs. This is everything from pause menus to the overhead map.

This is the children's book that we're doing this year! The same art team on WBUT returns for this children's-style book, intended for adult readers. It tells a story about Toby and his best childhood mousey friend Zach. This one will be full of surprises and we get to play around with a format a lot.
