I love this new scheduled post feature Patreon introduced recently. It allows me to sit down when I have the time to write and get as much work done as possible. The only downside; I sometimes forget when things are coming out, then I go and check my Patreon profile and say "When did that release?!"
Well, that has happened several times over the last week and a half or so. Per the title of this post, tons of new content for all different levels and tiers! Here is what has come out r...

While Reed and I were on our way home from Phoenix we stopped by an abandoned horse racing track. We had tried previously to get into the space but we got caught and had to run away! We shot a few digitals that came out amazing as well as some Instax!

The first part of this update is somewhat smaller. Simply because I was low on film when Circa was in town when we shot at Bluff Cove. However, it is an update nonetheless! The exposure above was shot in Venice Beach after great tacos, a stroll down the boardwalk at night time and a beer at an overly crowded and expensive bar. It was all worth it though, if I had to chose saving money or memories with great friends; I would most certainly choose the memories.
The rest of the exposur...

What perfect timing... Reed and I shot in this studio just in time to process the images and get them live for Valentine's Day. By just in time, I mean these were shot on January 7th. Because of the holiday and also just how much Reed and I love this set we decided to skip the entire back log that I have to edit and go right to this one. I am rather glad that Reed made me skip ahead to this set, It keeps thins fresh...

The last part of September's Update. Finally!
'September's Update' simply means the Instax were shot in the month of September. Which is exactly the month Reed and I took our amazing trip to Yucca Valley. This is the last installment of the Yucca Valley Instax. I believe Reed will be starting a new tier soon, mirroring off of my Instax library, but a little bit different. Stay tuned, we always work hard on what we put out for you.

Finally, another update.
Now that we are in Janurary of 2017 and I am just finishing up September's update of 2016, we can all say I was majorly slacking. Well, not slacking. I simply had a bunch of other things on my plate and from previous posts you know that getting The Instax Library updated is quite a process. I still have not found a better and quicker way to do it. So needless to say, finding the time to update this library in the midst of shooting a wedding, the busiest seas...

The very secod I saw the Polaroid Sun660 on Impossible Project's website I knew I wanted it. At first, Reed was hesitant on us purchasing the camera since I had just bought my D810 and 24mm 1.4. One day while we were on the phone, I had an epiphany while talking to her about the Sun660. "What if we shot a series of three or four photos, framed, matted and signed. One of a kind, original, never been done before." I beleive we bought the camera that night.
Now, a little bit of story b...

It has taken many vigerous hours to get all of these Instax scanned. Start to finish it is about ten to fifteen minutes per photo. I guess the good thing is that I do not mind doing it in the least. I love being able to look at these exposures once again and reminisce of past times.
This is the second installment of Instax Reed and I shot while in Yucca Valley. While we were there it felt like we were loading...

We decided to wait until 'The Loft' Series was all released to annouce our third book collaboration as well as it being the second installment of 'The Loft' books. We decided to take one of our favorite sets from that weekend and turn it into a limited edition hard cover.
Filled with ten amazing images that will only be printed these two times into the books. The same as last print, neither Reed or myself will disclose what photos have been printed inside. However, what I can tell y...

The end has come. As I think now, it is rather fitting that we release this final part of 'The Loft' series with only thirty-four days left in the year. Reed and I shot these photos back on Janurary Fourth, so in my mind it is only fitting that an amazing series shot at the very beginning of the year should only follow suite with the ending of the year.
Reed loved these flowers, so we decided to use them in two different sections of the loft with two different looks. This one, far l...

Yucca Valley.
There was so much anticipation for me and Reed working up to this trip. Booked so far out in advance it almost did not seem real when we were there. These are the first polaroids coming through of those days. Enjoy!

Ten of about two hundred or so.
Sitting on the left side of my desk is about two hundred additions to the Instax Library. Since this month has been such a busy month I have not been able to get around to the time consuming task of scanning, straightening, cropping, watermarking and uploading that extreme amount of instant film.
This first addition comes from our trip to Leo Carrillo State Beach in Malibu just past El Matador Beach. The colors here were amazing and translated so well eve...

At this point, I believe mostly all of the stories have been told, words have been said and pasts reminisced. This was mine and Reed's second huge project together. Next to The Stance Series. However, The Loft series definitely has more volume to it. I am still very sad to see it come to an end here soon.
Earlier in the day, Reed and I went out to run some errands. One of those errands was heading into the Flower District in Downtown Los Angeles to get ahold of these beautiful blue flower...

I might as well call this 'The Instax Library | Reed Update' since every single polaroid is of her. Which is not a bad thing, trust me. We were at the skate park again, this time a different outfit and with a paddle that says 'weep' on it. Can you guess where that tag line on the paddle came from?
This is the last update for August! Coming next month is over two hundred exposures from Yucca Valley, California. Stay...

Sedona.
What a beautiful place it is. The colors captured even in mere instant film is phenomenal let alone what Reed and I captured on digital. I feel like a little kid on Christmas Eve, looking forward to all that is to come.
Pictured above is my favorite Instax out of the bunch that we shot in Sedona. Become a part of 'The Ultimate Collection' and you can choose it as the one you wish to own!
There are also a few instax that we shot in our Airbnb while in Arizona as well includ...

Needless to say, Instax...Instax...Instax! These stacks of film will be in the September update that will go live in October. However, I have a couple more parts to release for my August update for my $10+ pledges. One will be released tonight.
I will also be releasing some behind the scenes throughout the rest of this week for my $5+ patrons as well from my recent shoots with Reed and for the 'Intimate Access' tier you will be seeing all of the behind the scenes from our trip to Yucca...

Flashing Lights.
The was the first day I was able to use my new SB-700 Speedlight. Eleven o'clock at night in the middle of a skate park was the perfect place to do so. Just as always Reed and I broke out our Instax cameras to be able to add to my library as well as get more exposures to send out to our patrons and sell on Etsy.
Reed has a few of these listed in her shop right now with a coupon code of "take50" for half off your entire order! The code is valid until October 1st, so use ...

Access to the Instax Library ultimately gives you an even more exclusive look into the future. When I shoot instax I like to shoot them as almost part of the set. In the middle of shooting I will set down my digital, pick up my trusty Instax Wide and keep shooting. It keeps the vibe and the feel in the instax the same as the shoot, which in turn is great for you because you get a great sneak peek at the set!
This Part II of the update is the first little bit of fun that Reed and I ...

My first shoot in August was with Cheyenne and of course we shot instax! I only kept a few for myself on account that most of the film we used was hers. She did let me take the at first in order to scan them and share them with you guys! I believe most of them have been sold off to her followers and fans. There are a couple that I still have that are available for the top two tiers of my pledges.
I cannot thank Mr. Bates enough for letting us use his living room for our location. The colo...

By far, the longest set of 'The Loft' series. I have a very hard time deciding which outfit, look or set I like the best out of this series, but I think this one is near the top of the list. As I sit here thinking about Part V, it made me curious why this set is so much longer than the rest and I honestly cannot say for sure. I think we were both extremely excited with how the photos were coming out that we just kept shooting and shooting. Regardless, it is great because you get to enjoy as many...

These two stacks are just some of what will be added to the Instax Library this month. While Reed was here we shot over sixty new instax! All of which we love. There is something about instant film that I love. I think the biggest part of it is no matter how hard you try, you'll never get the same instax twice, which is a beautiful thing. One of a kind photos that can never and will never be recreated.
Since there are so many new instax I have to add, I decided that I am going to do it...

I rarely ever buy new things for myself, but I guess this is the month to do so. D810, 24mm 1.4 ED, SB-700 Speedlight, 128GB SD card and of course some more instax wide film (80 exposures to be exact). In my browsing i came across the Impossible website. I had previously visited the website several months ago, but sadly the only thing they had listed was film and no cameras. Well to my surprise and somewhat displeasure they had this Polaroid Sun660 listed for sale with three packs of color film ...

Despite these being shot on Sunday, August Sixth, I decided to include them in the 'July Update' or else it would have been another month before they were added. I also would not have had an update to the library this month if I did wait. July was a slow month for me shooting wise. I had other things that needed my attention than going out on the weekends and shooting. I had plenty of content to edit through anyways for the month of July. I promise that the August update will be more vast and li...

I cannot say this is the half way point. The real half way point was between Part III and Part IV. Since there is no Part 3.5, I guess we will call this half way. Once again; exciting, but saddening. I never want this series to end. Seeing as the photos are all finished and this Airbnb is no longer available to book, it does have to end.
'Part IV' does not really start with an outfit, unless you want to call a necklace an outfit. We decide to shoot this part of the series fully nude. It ...

You will notice this is a smaller update to the library. I only added five instax this time around. Unfortunately, the trip I just had to Ohio was very task oriented. My main focus of the trip was getting Reed moved out of her apartment.
I did have all Saturday to shoot in Columbus, but I guess the winds were not right. Reed was working a car show in Eastern Columbus and at the same time there were a few other car shows going on throughout the area as well as Comfest. If you ar...

With every part of 'The Loft' that we release I become excited to have more of this series live, but sad that this series is finite. Both Reed and I wish that we could shoot in that space over and over again. The space was so diverse and the lighting was phenomenal.
Similar to Part II, Part III is a smaller set. I honestly would not be able to tell you why some are shorter than the others. It could be one thing as simple as feeling great about the shots that we got or a combination of multiple...
