Some of you may be asking or wondering why I have been sharing so much analogue content with you guys and gals. Well, it is just because I have been scanning a lot of Polaroids and also shooting a lot of film too! A couple weeks ago I was able to work with a few ladies in one day and Hailey was one of them. Enjoy!
This exposure was shot on Polaroid Originals SX-70 Type Color film with a Polaroid SX-70 Sonar OneStep.

I am ecstatic that Amber is in Los Angeles for a moderate extended stay! We got together the other day in Santa Monica, shot some beautiful analogue images on the beach and then shipped off to her Airbnb that just so happened to be an airstream! Somehow, the lighting was perfect. I was able to shoot half of a roll of Kodak E100 no problem at all and I was also able to properly expose these SX-70 Types with ease. Amber and I shot a lot of Polaroids this day, so stay tuned for more very s...

On days that I shoot, I judge how the day sorted out based on the quality of Polaroids I shot during that day. Sometimes, it is not a good day; whether they come out blurry, underexposed, overexposed, framing, etc. However, more times than not, it is a great day and this was one of those days. I had the chance to shoot with three ladies this day that were in town from Phoenix and Fenix was one of them. She is one of the sweetest ladies I have met through the industry and I am glad to be able ...

That is absolutely right. I did not miskey the title. A 620 exposure. A dead film format? Absolutely not. 620 film is actually the same exact size as 120 film in width and height, the only difference is the spool size. Kodak originally made 620 film thinking it would be the new widely accepted medium format, but they were wrong. Everyone basically said 'Why are you doing this, we do not like it, stop.' So, they did.
There are a decent amount of cameras that take 620 film. The...

I normally share my analogue photos with my $10+ tiers, but this is little different of a story, since there is no subject to these images. I decided to share these with all of you guys and gals!
This is a glimpse at what could have been.
For a long time now, Spectra type has caused analogue photographers issues. The issue is that Impossible Project/Polaroid Originals uses the same battery in their Spectra type film packs as they do in their SX-70 type and 60...

I have been bleaching FP-100C negatives for some time now. My friend Andy Reaser taught me how to bleach the negatives and hired me to work through over three thousands of his. In recent time, I have bleached only a few of the negatives I have shot, but recently bought a new scanner that has the capability of scanning negatives. Only downside; the largest negative it is rated to scan is 120 film, so when I am scanning my FP negatives, I have to do two scans and them merge them together in Pho...

Posting this gives me extreme nostalgia. Circle Frame Edition has not been offered for quite some time and it was a seemingly limited edition that Impossible Project released. Reed and I bought a stock pile of it and slowly worked through it. She took the last couple packs we had with her to Phoenix, but I may try to find some online some how or another.
This exposure was shot through my SX-70 Sonar OneStep. Which is always a fun but nerve racking process. The lighting has to...

I came across this exposure while scanning through all of our Polaroids again. I recently purchased a new scanner, the V600. It scans at an insane depth (up to 12,400 DPI) but I am only scanning at 1,200 DPI. Each file is 839MB, just below a gig. I can print these scans up to 150x150", which I may end up doing in the future. This is an old exposure, dating all the way back to mine and Reed's first destination trip to Joshua Tree, California several years ago. Needless to say, I am absolutely ...

I released this set with Tazia the other day and I only found it fitting to release the Polaroids we shot as well. My only option was to use flash cameras, since the shoot was at about 6:30PM and the sun was gone. Thankfully I had my ProPack and a couple others. I really wish I could have used my SX-70 with her, but there will always be another time. The FP-100C I shot expired in 2007, so that is the reason for the muted tones and a little bit flatter of an image that what FP usually produces...

A couple weeks ago Anna was in Los Angeles again! I was so excited I got to see my good friend twice within two weeks. We rented a space in Downtown Los Angeles and planned a three hour shoot with intentions of shooting the cover to her new magazine she has been working on. I can tell you, it came out absolutely how she wanted it. I will show you in the future. For now, enjoy these Polaroids we shot that day. All of these are shot on Polaroid Originals SX-70 type B&W and Color film. All o...

As all of you know, film is my main passion. Any sort of film I want to explore and immerse myself in, learn everything about and master it. There are only two types of analogue photography I have left to notch onto my belt; large format and tin type. Hopefully one day soon I will get to dive in head first into those formats, but for now what I have will had to suffice. This is a small collection of Polaroids Reed and I shot during one of her collaborations with another photographer. These ex...

A few days ago Reed and I met up with our very good friend David Zayas. It was the first time we had seen him since he moved back to The Bronx over a year ago. Through his super fancy connections, he landed this space for super cheap to shoot in. Reed and David shot, I assisted and of course shot Polaroids. Here are the results. Enjoy!

The other day Reed and I met up with a Canadian. His name is Pat and he is a great photographer with an amazing eye. I shot behind the scenes, per usual; I also shot Polaroids, per usual.
The room was extremely 1970's so the outfits coincided. This is a collection of that night's Polaroids spanning multiple formats; FP-100C, SX-70 and 600 Type films. Enjoy!
