Oh God it's Christmas

 This is one of those weirder situations, but it's kinda fun too.  There's a high res in the drop box. If I find the time, I'd like to finish it up properly like the weird halloween pics.

But it's christmas. I gueesssss it's awesome and cool and family is nice and everything. And I got gifts for lots of folks and it feels good. Still a little sick and stressed but hey, it'll be alright.

What the hell December? What's the hurry to get to Christmas? Are you just as tired of 2016 as I am?

Anyway, here's a rough sketch of Overwatch's Hanzo. I know, I was pretty tempted too to draw Tracer and her girlfriend like one half of the Overwatch Fanart community got busy with. Sorry for the lack of Patreon Posts for the past couple days. I'd spent quite a few hours on the Cassiopeia Quinn updates including the crazy detailed Motor Minx pinup. I think sometime in the future there'll be a way to offer you guys access to the pinups from that Patreon but for now they should stay exclusive. Cassiopeia Quinn is a partnership afterall, and here I'm just enjoying my own occasional kinks and postings.

Bike Girl (not biking girl)

I did this sketch after getting a download of an old PS2 game called Kinetica for the PS4. I admit, I liked it more for the concept than for the actual racing where sexy people in cybernetic suits were in a big sci fi race and they were the vehicles. Young Psu who was totally into Battle Angel Alita and Motorball and stuff was like, yooooo that's rad. It'd be fun to roll with those concepts in the future.

This was supposed to be colette walking by and seeing this in a big store display case. But then I figured that's silly, very few stores would have it out like that. And to top it off, the contents of the sketchie book aren't entirely kinky!

Body Suit Sketches

Just another quick update here. I can't say these are the most polished sketches at all. But I was playing with some slightly different coloring techniques which should work well with shiny material.

In what might be an unconcious/concious desire to dream about working on an actual Batgirls comic someday, I've been thinking about adjusting the way I draw Cassandra. Not the butt. The butt's fine for now. I mean her face and hair and general look. I would usually draw her with a normal "psu" face and some short action-y hair. But I think it wouldn't work as well alongside a lot of the usual DC styles. I wouldn't want to lose all the toonish look, but paring it back...

Joint Practice

I've always felt pretty uncreative when it comes to posing characters. When drawing from imagination, I try to find it on the page and this can often lead me to fiddling and bending one part of the body without really considering how that would affect the whole. This leads to anatomy rather like the last post I made here, wonky and flat.

Batgirl in Peril (rather NSFW)

I was definitely a little wary about posting this cause it edges closer to full on peril than I'd like to admit. But it's definitely a thing for me that expands on BDSM fantasies. I've gotten better about talking about these things, though I still prefer the intimacy of talking about it one on one rather than posting it like this. So I was wary of sharing like this.

Sketchie Book 5 Cover

Amazin' Coventures

It's been a while again. But I had some spare time after finishing the Cassiopeia Page earlier than planned. I definitely like where it's going now. With a different comic, it's a bit easier to experiment on styles. And I like the thickness of the smoke a lot here. It's really fun to draw and comes out very naturally. I just need to finish up a couple really complicated figures and this page will be good to go.

This is for a secret project. There's a possibility it's a project I'll be paid for and published by a site so I probably shouldn't be as open as I normally am about creating it. And I doubt I'll be able to share anything more than a few rough pages.

Beach Colette Pinup

Nothing too big about this. The hands and feet are a little rough but that's mostly because I'm still not that good at shorthands for - uhh - hands. Anyway I thought it still came out nice overall. And one thing about leaving a LOT of white in your color it really emphasized the bright light like you're underneath a really hot sun.

Not too much to add. If you'd seen my tumblr today I spent an inordinate amount of time talking about politics. This is frankly a terrible suit to go swimming in.

So update on the computer front, it looks like things are stable again. Frankly it had been something I put off for a long time, just formatting the main drive. It turned out that's essentially what I had to do to fix the thing. Thankfully there weren't any expensive total hardware failures, and reformatting and starting fresh is a good way to eliminate any old bugs.
