Autopilot

It's been like a month since I've been feeling another funk. A lot of drawings felt like they were going on auto pilot and it can be hard to get excited into drawing another pinup. Even though I quite like 2B as a character AND a design for sketching. But like any artist, it feels like a sloe quiet doldrum iif you're doing the same thing every time.

Rough Cass Page

So, I haven't taken enough time to do as many as I would like but I want to enter the DC Comics Workshop again this year. And this time I wanted to draw a sample comic page with a DC character. What better DC character to play with than Cassandra. And I wanted it to be a fight scene to complement my other comic pages. So who should she fight? Other "Cassandras" why not.

I don't have much commentary to add here. I really like the Supergirl costume in the TV show but am totally okay with making the skirt a tight one. Raven on the otherhand, when drawing her in a not pinuppy way I think her character comes across better if she's hunched over and always looking like she has a cold.

Not going to finish this one

Another 2B sketch. It was pretty ambitious as you can see but there started to be a lot of elements I didn't like about it. The anatomy was no good, and it wasn't really expressing the feeling of mid flight and attack as well as I would like. I started rendering before I had a proper sketch or layout settled on.

Pretty Julie Technomancer

This is probably the finalized design for the Technomancer should the comic ever actually become a thing. The little lift on her shirt is supposed to be more from the energy being raised up around her than her shirt being intentionally mid driff baring. I haven't fully decided on whether or not there'll be glowing energy around her hands but any object she's technomancing will have some kind of visual effect going over it.
