Hand it to her (NSFW Pinup)

Just sketching around. This COULD be a cover for a future comic but I'm not totally sure. I definitely like the imagery. Skin as a canvas is super cool to me, even if I'm not always for tattoos on characters. I intentionally made it so the hand marking on her would be virtually impossible do herself.

On that note, this is a fun art concept. It's not always possible to both do something COOL and something REALISTIC. You often want to aim for something BELIEVABLE. But sometimes a viewer will loo...

Not too much to say but I should do this more often. I find a lot of freedom when I decide to eschew thinking of lines and then my designs tend to change in a number of interesting ways.

I'm watching the new Voltron. Gosh, everyone in that show is really really pretty. I'd been drawing okay today, but this drawing in particular I enjoyed forcing myself to go more exaggerated than I usually do. I ended up liking the curves here a lot. It's a further extension of what I was saying about freeing myself to draw differently.

You might not notice it here but there was just a different mentality going into this one that I think paid off.

I've... kinda had a relatively full day of doing some various sketches and getting back into swing. I don't know how long it'll last. I hate swings. But they're there. I've been doing some mindless sketches recently, and characters like this one just involved me changing how I draw a little bit. And even just changing the general shape of their face, can renew my interest in really drawing.

This is just a pinup playing with the hand idea. I'm currently trying to come up with a super cute story here, that leans into the concept of her alien hand being a separate and lewder entity. Though I may need more ideas for it.

Holy cow was I knocked out of it for the past few days. I still am, to be honest. Life Drawing Session (NSFW?)

Not sure if this should really count as NSFW as it’s clearly a technical piece. I also intended to number these posts but frankly I’d already forgotten what number I was on before, if I had numbered them at all.

This was a roughly 30 minute drawing done over a 20 minute session and a 10 minute session. The model was really excellent and hadn’t moved at all.

Just some warmup sketches

Nothing too much here. I liked the fluidity. Also that elf is kinda pretty.

I'd like to get better at all the arm muscles. I have this tendency to think of a body like an armature with sections that move at specific angles. That's true of the bones and the general structure. But the body, and what we see of it, are the muscles and tissue that wrap around those bones. And drawing how they bridge the segments leads to really fluid art.

Okay, so a couple things.

I feel like I can say I'm on a better track mental health wise. I'm still spooked by things but as long as I'm working and exercising and just doing things every now and then including getting to watch a show here and there, I'm feeling better. Just... doing stuff. Even unimportant stuff makes me feel better than when I'm just doing nothing.

One benefit of doing more stuff, is that work sometimes falls in my lap.

Of all the characters, I was fairly impressed by the response to Handsy and her awkward concept. I think that greatly improves the chances of seeing more of her in the future too.

On the Job Training (nsfw bdsm)

This is proooobably really tough core strength training... Anyway, NSFW, there should be some in the high res folder.

It's sorta batgirls Cassandra and Steph, probably some shenanigans at a different kinkier bat mansion. They're tasked with getting from one end of the mansion to the other without damaging anything. Some friends recommended a newly married Catwoman is somehow involved in coming up with the training. I don't think that's really in character but... it really looks like a good cha...

Chef Girl

Sketches from last night. I just realized I sketched HunBun in a spot looking at her butt.

I was being more conscious of giving Chef Girl a specific physique. It's something I should be more conscious of overall as lots of my "babes" just have the same body type. There's of course lots of story telling you can do just by having different bodies. And it's all very interesting and complicated.

Coming up with her sleeve tattoo will be pretty important but I THINK it'll be a good idea to pic...

Hun Bun

Laps are nice. I think head on lap is better than a lap dance anyway.

So Chef Girl has a bunch of tattoos and I haven't fully decided on them. There are lots of chef themed tattoos I've seen, but a lot of them are harder to make read in a comic. A simple egg might appear comical but it does a couple things. An egg is a really REALLY big ingredient in cooking. And two, it reads well in even simple drawings.

Rosemary Model Sheet (kinky outfit!)

Someone had been asking me for a model sheet of this character (remember her?) and I figured I'd oblige. It isn't the most creative costume but I honestly had no problem with giving her underwear that serves as her gym outfit and a casual outfit that's multiple sizes too small.

It was really rough drawing yesterday, I had some trouble with allergies and lots of problems focusing on actual creating. I think I've still got some of those, loads of distractions still pulling me away from goals. Ev...

Petting Your HunBun

Just a sketch. I did it a little while ago. Sorry if I scared you guys last night. I was actually a bit worried myself but it's been... up and down recently. Today is nice. I just gotta be conscious about actively making my day better instead of just wallowing. Which I am wont to do.

Going to leave this with the working title "HunBun" for now. I've actually got a story in mind that's getting more complicated by the second but it's touching on themes that I'd be really excited to explore. I'll keep you guys posted, but I'll try to avoid giving away too many details.
