I haven't just dumped a big pile of anatomy sketches in a while. So here's some of the examples of studying I'd been doing this past month.
I wouldn't bank on those bones being completely accurate. What I'm finding helpful is trying to remember general shapes and placement with each one. Sometimes writing them down and then joking about em, can give you a really helpful shorthand in your mind, that you can use later when making stuff up.

She doesn't really dress in cute clothes a lot, let alone a maid costume, so I wanted to get across some of that in the expression. I think a lot of pinup art, especially in the manga scene, uses embarrassment and the like as endearing traits. I think it has it's places. Sometimes it can be used as a way of excusing really ridiculous sexualized clothes. And that's not totally bad. It's just something that doesn't belong with every character.

So I went ahead and bought Ring Fit Adventure (an exercise game for the Switch, your patreon dollars at work!) and it's been great so far. I'm only a few days in but I can say with confidence it's quite the workout. I hope the RPG mechanics keep me engaged for the long haul. But I'm enjoying the presentation and the regimen. It's so far, easier to fit into a schedule than going to the gym.

Chef Girl! It's been a while. Easily one of my favorite characters that I really haven't drawn enough of lately.
I think she's cool. She represents a lot of feelings about being a frustrated artist that's also a crafts person. When you need to make things to order, yet you want to satisfy your own creativity and ingenuity, when you're kinda abrasive and end up being lonely, I think there's a lot to identify through a character like this.

Hannah is quickly becoming one of my favorite OCs to draw. I'm really fond of her and her concept and her cute haircut and her cute collar.
