I miss drawing Knights and I never need a reason to draw Cass, but this time I had a reason to draw a Knight Cass cause of the announcement of a High Fantasy alternate universe of the DC Universe. I'm quite looking forward to seeing how Cass figures into it, now that she's confirmed to at least make an appearance as part of a knightly Batfamily.

I'm really quite happy with how this piece came out and it feels like it would make a good poster. But I'm honestly not sure how useful a poster it would be. Like... okay. So you have a piece of art but it's a mash of two different properties that people might not be that familiar with. So besides being a striking image, it might not interest a casual viewer much. She seems friendly! (monster girl commission)

A commission for SpaceRobot! It was a neat one, they asked for a design for a monster girl and they gave me a lot of freedom on how to design her. Cass Gargoyle, rough sketches

I, Colette (robot stuff!)

I had a lot of fun listening to an audiobook of I, Robot last month. It's really kinda fascinating to see a lot of the "cyberpunk" tropes of the modern day set up by a writer from the 1930s and 40s. And then for kicks, after finishing the book I went and watched I, Robot the movie with Will Smith. Not a very good movie but not an awful one. And the robot had a pretty cool aesthetic in it.

The Extended Psuniverse...

This is silly but I had it in my mind that I really should make a better guide to all my characters and story ideas. This map here might be more confusing than it is helpful! But at least for me it reminds me of all the different projects I wanna do. And it might disappoint some people that I'm not working on one or another at any given time.

Gold!

Goldie again, just working on that hair and coloring her golden features. For those who haven't seen her before, she's a superheroine that can change into an indestructible metal (not actually gold) at the cost of being able to move. She can also shapeshift into solid objects though this takes considerably more concentration.

I'm not quite sure if I'll make a story with her yet but I just think she's really cute. And she's kinda cool.

Good Hair

I'd been meaning to really improve my methods for drawing or painting natural black hair. It might not be something you think about when you see drawings of African American characters but kinky hair is completely different than others kinds. Even curly hair isn't rendered quite the same way.

To help out, I've bought some brushes for Clip Studio paint. It helps get the texture right, which has been where I've cheaped out before.

Stuck in the middle of something (Kinky NSFW)

So hey, gonna try a little something different here. I know when I post something, it sends the first image in the post into your inbox. Also when scrolling through my feed, you can end up seeing the first post blown up pretty big. So like... if I've got something heavier or weirder like say.... Beefy (a guy? on this patreon?)

So I watched the new He-man cartoons, both of them. I kinda like em! Anyway I felt like drawing He-man and it made for a decent enough change of pace. We'll get to more babes soon enough.

Something appealed to me about giving his face an "innocent" look though. Like it emphasizes the kid that "Shazams" into a superhero and is then a little over his head. The shows don't always explore that but I think that general idea is very relatable.

If I draw at least one or two more things with this theme, it's gonna be its own psudonym alternate universe. Not like I don't have cyborg girl universes already. I just... might not mind making another one of them.

Back home! Sorry for missing a post yesterday, but I'll try and get back to making cool art for you guys soon. With this sketch in particular, I wanted to do it really quickly and emphasize the camera angle. If I can get good at both of those things at the same time, I can start offering more interesting layouts.

A metallic Rose (asfr kink)

More robots! I admit, I just hadn't drawn the arms and legs yet but it kinda looked cool here already. And robots in various states of construction or repair also neatly falls under the asfr kinks, as I might've mentioned before. I'm looking forward to finishing this but I didn't have time to give it a good coloring either. But I do like the idea of half lidded eyes being a digital display, it's pretty.

Just trying to fill out some time while I'm away on this move, so I'm dropping some unfinished work that I hadn't posted yet. I tend to share most everything I do, usually. A Bat Knight (unfinished)

It was an attempt at a Black Knight Cassandra Cain. There's an upcoming midevial themed alternate unvierse in DC comics and I figured it'd be pretty cool to throw my hat in the ring and just sketch up a Cass. But I'm not sure I'll finish this. I think I'd like to rework the design a bit. Trying to both make a really cool illustration while designing the armor on the fly led to a lot of back and forth that made the pace of working on this piece very sluggish.
