Mizue route patch is out! 

I've also started on the Maki route, and have about 10 percent of that translated at present. I'm going to be setting a goal of TLing between 20 and 30 percent of that route per month going forward, still with the goal of an all-routes patch to M Lesson.

M Lesson Progress Post (End of December 2021)

Mizue route, sizzling [redacted] and all, is 100 percent translated. Editing should start tomorrow, with a patch currently planned for mid-January. There's an issue with the last scene not saving in the recollection menu, so I'm going to try a couple workarounds. The most likely endpoint is I'll provide a 100% clear save file with each subsequent patch, but hopefully there's a more elegant solution.

This month went more or less according to schedule. I completed an additional 30 percent of the the M Lesson Cram Session! common route, meaning we're 75 percent of the way to a draft on the first patch. Maki was a big focus of work this month - her character is dynamic and a lot of fun!

Sachiko's route is translated and edited, so the text part of things is done, and I've confirmed the full Steps to Love patch can be played through. I'm now on the clock to find solutions to UI/QoL issues. Whatever I have done on June 10th will be the v1.0 translation patch release.

Next TL Project Selection Timeline (ft. a guideline tweak)

I took advantage of the long month and some good vibes and hit the upper end of my target TL range for this month. I'm at +20 percent translated on Sachiko's route for March. So that first draft is 86 percent done thus far, and the timeline is starting to really take shape.

March 2021 Short Story: The Autumn Journal of Mrs. Lamentia Langsbury

I enjoy writing short one-offs, but I think it's pretty self-evident that longer stories make it easier for characters to flesh out and feel more three dimensional. Effective March 2021, each story prompt poll will have one option that simply reads "And then what happened?" A vote for this will be a vote to continue the previous month's story.

January 2021 Status Update

I'm alive. Spent January reading, relaxing, and watching more sports than usual. The first three weeks off were a nice recharge, but eventually I got to missing TL/writing stuff. Glad to be back.

One more day before the full patch of So, I Hear You Like Sadistic Women is a full year old. And the actual game turned 10 in August. It was a fantastic game to work on and I still think about those characters a lot.
