Well, I hadn't planned this painting.

You already know I love this OVA, and it's always great to work on fan art for it. However, I hadn't planned to do anything about Urot in the short or medium term.

This painting is the result of my immense surprise and joy that finally, after many years and two trips to Japan, actively searching every single Mandarake that Tokyo and Osaka have offered me, I finally found (albeit digitally) the artbook for this work a couple of days ago.

I had already resigned myself to my old, out-of-focus photographs from this book. During all this time, I've been working with these incomplete paintings, and I had already resigned myself to never seeing this complete work again.

So, for a fan like me, a lover of the art of this work, you can imagine my joy; the moment deserved a tribute painting. ^www^
