2024-07-20 09:01:02 +0000 UTCEpisode 5 is one of my favs since we get to see Alastor and Lucifer both act a mess over Charlie. Hazbin Hotel supposedly takes place in the Pride Ring of Hell (of which, it's citizens suffer from the sin of Pride) which might explain Alastor's attitudes towards Lucifer. It might very well be the simple idea that Lucifer is the biggest power in all of Hell that rubs Alastor the wrong way, encouraging Alastor to act like he does in this episode. His outward appearance is disingenuous, as I don't believe he holds any actual sentiment for Charlie or the hotel, learning that he is leashed to another (supposedly even more powerful) person, might imply he's there on behalf of their bidding. Episode 6 - just. holy crap what a reveal! I really like the multiple singing roles in the second song of the episode. So many of these songs knock it out of the park! Sad to see that the end is coming soon, but I'm looking forward to seeing you guys watch the finale! I love how yall are watching these in pairs, it works perfectly with the pacing of the last 2 eps!
