(Nsfw) Harpy Mating, Loretober Day Eight!

We've talked before about social touching and erogenous zones of harpies, as well as what happens when a harpy has spring fever, but let's get into the nitty gritty, how do harpies mate! Some of this may be well known to those who read my nsfw lore corner last year ;)

Genitalia

A harpy's genitalia is situated where you'd expect, their groin. The surrounding feathers hide/protect the area from being exposed, and both male and female genitalia look quite similar to a human vulva when they are not aroused.
Unlike humans, harpies do not have anuses. Instead, they use one hole, a cloaca, for both waste and seed. Harpies do however still have vaginas, clitorises, and penises, however, clitorises and penises are kept within their cloaca, only emerging when stimulated by physical touch/intense arousal. Because of this, it's very rare for harpies to get a "boner" in front of others...but they're not completely free from embarrassment.

Since female harpies do not produce their own lubrication, males provide it by regularly leaking seed throughout the mating process, not just during climax. This pre-ejaculate helps entry, raises the chances of breeding, and can sometimes be released even when the penis hasn't swelled out of the cloaca yet, leading to occasional embarrassing moments for hormonal males.

So, how do they have (straight) sex?

Very much like us humans. The only differences are foreplay and how the penis grows in size as it is stimulated.
As far as foreplay, harpies tend to simply get down to it. They do not kiss like humans do, but biting is a common occurrence as well as using hands/feet to hold down a harpy as one thrusts or rides.
Harpy vaginas are quite deep inside, so harpy penises are built to continuously lengthen and swell until they either fit snugly inside the female or until they can't strain their skin any farther. This makes them the perfect fit every time!

What about gay sex?

Since harpies don't have anuses, anal sex does not exist among harpies. Male cloacas are too narrow/shallow to allow for penetration, so, for most gay harpies, oral sex is their main method of pleasure. Though putting a penis directly in a harpy's mouth is seen as a bit dangerous considering their sharp teeth, it definitely doesn't stop them from trying. However, the vast majority of oral sex, for any harpy not just m/m, is comprised of licking and shallow sucking.
Additionally harpies will sometimes file down their talons in order to give handjobs. This is seen as a bit dangerous because talons are a harpies main method of defense and touching one another with their fingers/palms is not typical nor thought of as a necessity. Talons are not even dulled in order to handle babies, so having them filled down constantly is seen (true or otherwise) as a public display of "I'm having a lot of sex, enough that it's more important than my safety." This choice is most common with lesbians, who will sometimes not only file down their talons, but completely trim 1-3 talons down from their non dominant hand. The handicap brought on by this of often offset by the fact two female harpies (large and powerful) will hunt/defend together.
The way that lesbians deal with the lack of lubrication (when saliva simply doesn't cut it) is by utilizing magical plants (similar to aloe vera), who produce gel-like substances that can ease entry without irritation. Dildos made of various materials, namely wood, are also sometimes used alongside artificial lubricant, but are not used regularly due to them being difficult to reuse/clean properly, and because they are often too rigid, causing discomfort for some.
Grinding against each other is also a method of pleasure for all harpies, but it tends to not have as intense of an effect as the others listed, and is typically done at the start of mating to rile each other up.
