FYI, I assume you guys will already have seen this by then, but those two astronauts stuck in space, Butch and Suni, will be there till February! Starliner is coming home without them, because it's been deemed to risky to bring them back They'll come home on a SpaceX rocket that has yet to go up there

2024-08-23 20:11:11 +0000 UTCHouse battery backups also can greatly benefit users that DON'T have solar - you can use cheaper power overnight to replenish the battery, and then consume your backup during the day or afternoon/evening when the power company charges more. And of course they work as a (imo) far better alternative to gas powered generators in a brown or blackout, as you don't have to go out and crank it. Instead you get an uninterrupted power supply with instant fail over and it levels out any electrical spikes.
