Get ready to make a splash, because we're diving headfirst into EPISODE #5 of "MY BOYFRIEND IS A SUPERHERO: OFF THE BOOKS!" โ "SPLASH and FLASH"!
As I gear up to tackle my first full-length, 12-page "MY BOYFRIEND IS A SUPERHERO" story (writer and artist duties, here I come!), I wanted to warm up with another slice-of-life adventure featuring our favorite duo, BYRON and FELIX. And what better setting than a good old-fashioned public pool day?
Now, let's talk wardrobe malfunctions. We've all been there, right? That heart-stopping moment of accidental exposure. It's mortifying! So, I thought it would be hilarious (and maybe a little relatable?) to see how a superhero like Felix, in his civilian guise, handles such a revealing situation โ especially when he's usually strutting his stuff in the buff as NJ!
Keep your eyes peeled for the subtle details, my friends. Trust me, some things are more than they seem! ๐

Hiya, my dear Conor. No, you didn't miss the announcement -- I literally just realized I never "officially" made it and thought I'd quietly, sneakily slip the news into these latest MBIAS: OFF THE BOOKS posts. HA HA HA! ๐๐ But I'm SO PLEASED you're so excited about it. I am too. I love Byron and Felix and I'm SUPER STOKED to get to bring more of their adventures to life. I don't think any of us were ready for the MBIAS series to end when Alexander announced his retirement from the industry. I guess I'm fortunate that I can step in and continue their stories myself. But hey, I LOVE that you enjoyed this strip so much, as well. It was just good, "clean" silly fun to write and draw... and a nice warm-up for the full 12-page story I'm preparing for this Summer. It was one of my favourite CC titles, and hearing that we'll be getting more of Felix and Byron's shenanigans with your gorgeous art just made my day ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ can't wait to see what you'll bring us! In the meantime, I'm obsessed with this latest episode of Off The Books! Byron's definitely got the right idea to just sit back and watch Felix's body at work, and the sight of Felix climbing out of the pool in the buff is just too hot for words ๐คค. I love his little attempt at modesty, bless his heart for thinking that schlong could be contained ๐. Veeeeery interested to know who that mysterious figure behind Byron could be, all the more reason to look forward to your comic!

We'll see how it goes for the second episode. But I'm very much looking forward to getting started. It's gonna be one of my late spring/summer comics here, so it won't be long now.
