And we're BACK... sort of. Finally. Did yall know it's been almost a full year since I updated my comic? The last post was on the 28th of September. Ha! Ha HA

ANYWAY, I've made a promise to myself to finally get back on track with working on/posting Moira stuff again, so as always, yall get to see this first.

One of the main roadblocks I had wrt starting the comic again came from quite a few things, one of which being my migration to a computer instead of my laptop. Because of this, I had to re-download CSP, and it meant I didn't have my custom font on there anymore. The text you saw in old pages and the one you see in this one is a custom font I hand-wrote on my tablet.

Honestly, between now and the official start of chapter 4, I may have to tweek some things about the font: a couple things need to be re-aligned, I think the capital letters should be a tad smaller, and I might switch out the 'I' letter with one that doesn't have... What are they, the lines on top and bottom? I don't actually draw those when I write, so I'll either remove them or shorten them, because it seems way too big as-is.

The other thing that's kept me from working on more MOIRA is waffling on whether or not I want to fully migrate work on the comic to CSP, which is known as being extremely useful for comic writing. I've decided on No for now, mostly because it doesn't (currently) have the specific brush I really like to use in Sai, and I still haven't actually looked at any tutorials at how to utilize it's comic/manga features. I should probably try to do that soon.

In the end, it's just nice to be working on this again. I'm intimidated by some of the things that will come with the new chapter (the main thing being that I'll have to draw Moira's parents' house, inside and outside, which is much more complex than her shitty little house from the last two chapters. But! I'm trying not to shy away from the challenge. The only way I'll get better is by pushing myself. Wish me luck!
