critter comic (3) - happy pride!
Added 2023-06-23 23:36:32 +0000 UTCa critter comic for pride month! this happened like, two weeks ago? and i immediately knew it had to become a comic. you get the creature in full color for this special occasion. i also posted this one publicly, but you guys can have some fun commentary
so i guess i can talk about our colors/outfits... first off i'll say, it's funny that kiore (my roommate/qpp) and i have designs with pretty similar markings. i did design both, but the coincidences are on accident. main things: our 'tear streak' markings, our lighter 'muzzle' parts, dark noses, and similar ear shapes (fun fact while typing that last part i glanced up and realized i had actually drawn one of kiore's ears as mine JUST FIXED IT... lol). i did have to adjust kiore's colors to suit the overall palette better, since i was using the colors from one of my old pride editions of critter - he was too desaturated!
other thing i can comment on is clothes. some of these are things we actually own and i tried to stick to their real colors (ex. my shorts, kiore's jeans); both our shirts are whatever, my color chosen for harmony and kiore's because yellow is his favorite color. he has that ace hat irl tho!
i guess i'll also point out my hair isn't died red, that's part of my 'pride palette'. i've always kinda wanted to try dying it a reddish color, though? it's a little tricky with my dark hair, also i tend to shave it pretty often so who knows how long i'd keep it... maybe someday...
