So one of our top warriors Daniel had a great suggestion for me the other day. He asked if I had anything that would work well for a minigame, and if I didn't asked if I could write something. Honestly, I'm surprised I didn't think of doing a minigame theme sooner!
Since he was requesting it for a Triple Triad style game (FF8 ftw), I used that as inspiration and started with a bluesy piano line. After that, alllll the blues songs I've heard over the years started to creep into my mind, so I started pulling inspiration from various artists like Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Doors and even Tommy James.
...it dawns on me that some of you reading this are going to have no idea who those people are. Check them out if that's you!

2021-08-03 14:26:03 +0000 UTCAll I had to hear were the first few notes and I was hooked. I love this one, haha. I can absolutely hear the Shuffle or Boogie inspiration in there, and can tell how you were inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughan for sure.
