It dawned on me the other day. I've never really done any kind of a "Farm" tune for you guys. It seems like such an obvious choice now, but the idea eluded me for well over a year surprisingly! Oddly enough, this ended up being one of the more difficult tunes for me to write.
After getting the drums, bass and guitar down, I scrapped idea after idea of melodies that needed to sit on top of it. Who would've guessed such a simple song would be so complicated behind the scenes? Ultimately I came up with something that I felt worked well. And after living with it for a day or so I feel very confident in the piece.
