Phew, honestly thought this post was going to be way later than this. But hey, here we are!
Haven't done a eastern sounding tune in a while (I don't think...?) so this one was fun! Didn't really intend to go this direction, but I found a cool bass sound and laid it down. Then I found the sitar-y sound while looking for something else and just like that, the direction was chosen for me lol.
It's funny, cuz just on the bassline alone, the song could have gone somewhere COMPLETELY different, but as soon as I added that second element in, the sound options narrowed immensely.
Soon I'll be able to share with you guys some of my process on a livestream. Honestly nervous about doing that but I think that is all the more reason to go for it! Feel the fear and do it anyway, as the say!
