It's officially December, meaning 2024 is right around the corner!
...Holy crap 2024 is right around the corner...
Much like October is spooky month, I figured this month I could roll out a bit of icy-wintery sounding tunes for ya! So I'm starting off with a track inspired by a fairly iconic wintery tune, the track "A Wish" from Secret of Mana.
That track used a hauntingly beautiful flute sound, drenched in echo to set the tone for the icy landscape. I started off with a similar sound, but threw in a few more elements just to spice things up, and to not be too on the nose with my reference material. I pulled some inspiration from FFV as well with the percussive elements. Overall, it turned out pretty nice!
