Sorry about the radio silence, Myself and Connie have been away enjoying a much needed break away in Poland.
I had a great time thanks for asking, got to see the final of the Driftmasters championship, Met James Deane at the airport, took a tour of a vodka museum, it was tremendous!
I've also had an issue with my audio interface that went from a minor niggle to a catastrophic failure so I've had to send it off for repairs.
TLDR: the release of my next video is kinda up in the air until I hear back about it.
But I'm still cracking on and getting as much done as I can before it comes back so enjoy the sneak peak 🦆

2024-10-03 23:52:23 +0000 UTCWe went to a supermarket which was like Poland's version of Tesco and got a 70cl bottle of Vodka (because Poland) 2x 2liter bottle of coke, some snacks for the room and talc powder (there was a lot of walking in hot weather) It all came to €12.50 (about £10) The most expensive stuff was the international places like McDonald's & Starbucks which were about the same as home but everything else was less than half of what you'd expect.

2024-10-03 23:36:05 +0000 UTCWe both had a great time over there! Candle light dinners in the evening, late night strolls through the lovely lit up streets of old town. gorgeous parks and scenery, extremely cheap alcohol and food, it was all surprisingly romantic actually. Highly recommend it.

2024-10-03 00:38:17 +0000 UTCYeah! they give you 4 shots of vodka at the end too for a "tasting" as well as access to a posh cocktail bar. it was the highlight of the trip and I'm not just saying that because the tour guide was gay and was paying a lot of attention to me. But seriously a 70cl bottle of vodka is about €8 euro over there. it's heaven for someone fond of a drink.
