The All Star game sucks now because today's player's aren't made of the same competitive stock as players from yesteryear. These are the kids who grew up getting participation awards and getting coached in youth soccer leagues by women. 20 years later they are running the NBA. They want to team up, not compete. They take a third of the season off for "maintenance" instead of competing when less than 95%.

Chrons your generation hating was showing in this one. Steph WAS the reason that All Star game was fun to watch. What do you expect an all star game to be in 2022? Steph thought to himself, “what do I do in the regular season that I can ramp up in the all star game to entertain fans”. And bruh, who was going to guard Steph at half court to deter him from taking those shots. It’s an unreasonable shot so there’s no amount of defense you can put on that. When he shot the 3 and turned to the crowd to ask if it went in, that was all time great all star moment. I’d complain more about the defense when driving the ball to the basket or in the paint, but what Steph was doing was something unguardable.

It’ll have to be another jordan in my opinion. Someone to bring the game back to real basketball. Someone who can dominate the league thru fundamentals and basics. The league is already reverting back to that with the bucks and suns but i don’t see how much more you can go in the video game direction. What’s next, half court shots are gonna be shot like threes? It’ll have to be a generational talent that will master the fundamentals and original style of play

Lebron and Kyrie I think actually do have the most shoe sales. KDs are very uncomfortable bc he has a weird shaped foot. A lot of the young guys wear the Kyries bc they look the most like Kobes. If Ja ever has a signature shoe, I think it will outsell both tho. Giannis shoes are pretty dope, but my favorite PE shoe is LaMelo w Puma and it’s trending up w a bullet. But i think Lebron has went to wearing low top sneakers, bc that’s what’s fashionable now. If u look at his Ambassador shoe line, they look identical to Kobes. It’s just wild to me that players care more about how they look, than actually staying healthy. AD only wears low top Kobes and he rolls his ankle atleast once a year. Even Lebron rolled his the other night bc he wears low tops, even tho his signature shoe is a mid. If players wear low tops, they should atleast wear ankle braces like Curry and Derozan.

The last great ASG I watched was that 01 or 02 one when Kobe and Marbury ended it w like 5 3pters back to back. Shit was so fire. I think the face is still Lebron. I mean he gets covered whether they win or lose.. sorta like the cowboys; but the foreign players are the best players... they just aren’t marketable which a lot of analysts don’t want to acknowledge, but it is what it is.

It should be Giannis but people don't wanna give him that since he's not American. He would have to win like 2-3 more championships for some in the media to give him his due. When Jordan had that 40 in the all star game it actually meant something. Players were competitive and still took pride in winning the game. Now no one gives a damn.
