First, I want to thank you all for your incredible patience, support, and trust over the past few weeks while I developed SteinWipe Code. Sorry for the quiet week so far; I’d been very sick since the weekend, but today is the first day I’m finally feeling more like myself again. It’s great to be back and diving into this exciting project with you!

Your pre-purchases of the X1 SteinWipe listing before any file releases really helped bring this project to life with speed, and I have to say—I’m LOVING this machine. It’s been an amazing tool for developing SteinWipe, and I really appreciate all of your trust that I would deliver on my word! Also a big thinks to everyone in the SteinWipe Chat Group who helped test code, gave feedback, and a few even donated their machines! You all are so amazing!
What’s New?
1️⃣ SteinWipe X1 and P1 Development Progress
X1C Final Code Release: The X1 SteinWipe is now complete with 7 G-code files tailored for Orca Slicer 2.2.0 (Bambu Studio is complicated with limited features but coming soon).
Google Docs Manual: A comprehensive guide with photos and step-by-step instructions is in the works.
A Full Featured Tutorial Video: Coming soon - A long form video going over all the new details of the project.
Orca Slicer Machine Profile: Coming soon - this profile will integrate SteinWipe into the build plate, allowing you to visualize tool paths directly in the slicer.
2️⃣ New Additions for Wiper Mounts
Height-Offset Mounts: Now includes 0, +0.5mm, and +1.0mm height offset mounts for even more customization.
Drilling Template: A printable template is now included for precise and easy mounting hole placement.

Hey Steven, thank you for your support by purchasing this solution :) Yes, this code will work in Bambu Studio however Bambu is limited in some Gcode calls so not all 7 provided files can be inputed. Everything will still work, it just will not be optimized. I am looking into other solutions and Ill post them when they are ready so just keep an eye on the page for that. Thanks!

When you go into the machine settings and the Gcode tab in orca slicer, you just need to clear everything that is in each section and then extract the text from the provided Gcode files, copy, and bring that text over to the slicer and past it in. There are 7 codes you need to do this for. Just match the name at the top of the code to the name of the window in the slicer. The pause code is apart of this.

2025-01-20 00:20:59 +0000 UTCNo kidding. It dont feel right on so many levels. The current code does work in Bambu, though as is.. But Bambu lacks some operations which makes the material changes and first layer scan mods complete. These are not deal breakers but it helps with travel strings. I know I can do it with post processors, but to keep things simple for everyone, Im trying to avoid going that route. But for the record, everything will work in Bambu right this moment except for setting travel speeds and accelerations when leaving the wipe routine.

2025-01-17 16:13:49 +0000 UTCHi Enes, I looked at this before naming the solution X1 SteinWipe, I seems to use most of the same code and the only real differences are a few handfuls of lines that control some thermal logic on startup and then again midway through the routine. I would be careful about using the heated chamber with the X1 code just because it will likely result in a filament jam at the moment. Official X1E compatibility is possible if I can get my hands on this machine for testing.

2025-01-16 23:54:12 +0000 UTCOk guys, before I had to leave and do a bunch of things, I also wanted to say - if you purchased one of the listings from before, they will look different now and feature all the completed X1 files but you still own the contents of the listing so please always just check the date at the top of the file and if its newer, you can download the new goods and dont need to buy anything else. A few people bought the X1 Beta code listing and that listing is unpublished but to my understanding, it is still available for you to access the new code because I did not delete the listing - its not 100% clear on how that works but let me know if you have any trouble, Ill look after you with a google drive link to the new files. All other questions about access to the new codes, please DM me!
