The 28th of October marks an important greek anniversary from 1940 when the greek army scored the first victory against the axis forces, sparking hope across the globe.
The miniature is an evzonas soldier, the elite guard of the greek army, marching in the cold of the pindos mountain range. Cold but defiant.

yes, although given what they did to their leader at the end of the war, I prefer to see it as being against Mussolini. No hard feelings to Italians :)
