I usually do all the work on these pages over the weekend but this week I was sick all Sunday so this is what I have to show for myself. It's still Monday in some parts of the US. I hope to finish the page tomorrow or the next day. For now, enjoy a little behind the scenes peek.
Not all my artworks start with the backgrounds first, but for comics they nearly always do. I also block out the dialog and map where the balloons all go. The characters are last because they are the easiest and, frankly, the most fun part for me, so they're usually the dessert to my projects.
