January Patreon Update

Heya Kin! Hope you all had a happy new year! Say hello to a concept made by the lovely https://twitter.com/icednuclear I've known her for a long time and she's been helping me along with Pofu to make some great works. This is a concept for the barkeep, an owl with a twin brother. She runs the tavern you'll be going to and also manages the quest board, giving the rewards.

But we'll get into that at another time!

Some changes are coming to the "Agent" tier. If you already subscribed to that tier last month, don't worry. You'll still get your illustration!

But I don't want to gate commissions and the like through patreon, I feel it's kind of shady and could be handled better. Instead the tier is just changing to a $30 support tier, and all patrons will be gaining the following benefits:

On Saturday January 12th I'll begin a week-long auction for patrons. This is the character auction I mentioned last month in Lust Quest Update #4.5. Patrons supporting me will be receiving a discount based off of their tier and those Agents that were supporting me since last month will receive an extra + $10 discount on this auction as thanks for supporting me in advance and putting up with this change. 

I'm planning to hold auctions like this for each major update, so two others are currently planned. One for LQ: ICE, one for LQ: FIRE, and one for LQ: SHADOW. 

The starting bids for each slot in the tavern will vary depending on the position and visibility of the OC in the slot, I'll have an image with each of the slots up on January the 10th, two days before the bid so you can see which ones you'd like. But the the bids will look something like this:

around $50-$100 for the interior slots
- This includes one line of dialogue when your character is clicked on

around $140 for the two exterior slots.
- This includes a custom dialogue portrait for your character along with a small conversation with the protagonist (or to the viewer)

This auction will be held privately for patrons and any extra slots will then be auctioned out publicly. As a reminder, everykin will only be able to get one slot max per auction.

In addition to this I'll also be offering special commisions once I've taken care of the illustrations for last month. This should be around the 15th of January, since I'd like to provide examples. These will include, but not be limited to the following:

• Illustrations
• Background NPCs.
• Custom items you can collect ingame.
• NSFW art of your OC and a character from Lust Quest that can be found ingame.
• Or even special requests for a mini-episode featuring an NPC that you're really fond of.

Prices for these vary based off of the complexity, but if you're interested in one of these, hop on the discord server and PM me directly, we can privately hash out details. And if you're a patron, I'll be offering you a discount on these based off of your patron tier. (ex, $30 off for Agents, $10 for Mages, etc. Please note that the extra $10 discount for agents is just for this auction and is not included for custom requests like these) And I'll be opening up 5 of these slots at that time to gauge the level of complexity. You do not need to be a patron to do this, I just want to offer patrons a discount since they are supporting me!

The last important thing to note, I'm aiming for a around Sunday, January 20th release for the first playable build of Lust Quest: ICE. I wanted to time it near the end of the auction. I'll be unavailable for a bit due to a close friend's wedding later in the month, so it seems right to me!
