Cool Thai pattern/vocab from my Travel Vlog in Istanbul

I want to give you some vocabs that I think most of you will have to look up in a dictionary or read the English transcript :)
At 01:23, I use the word ณ. ณ is pronounced นะ (ná). This word means "at". If you guys know the word "ที่" (têe) as in "at/in", this word has the same meaning. The word ณ is not used as often as ที่ and is not perfectly interchangeable. I will give you some common phrases that we use ณ below. My suggestion is: just know what it means. Once you have more exposure to the language and you hear a lot of ณ used in real speech, it will come out naturally.
Let's look at more examples:
- ณ เมืองเล็กๆ แห่งหนึ่ง
ná meuuang lék lék · hàeng nèung
In/at a small town. - ณ จุดนี้
ná jùt née
At this point. - ณ ตอนนี้
ná dton-née
At this moment, now. - ณ เวลานั้น
ná way-laa nán
At that time. - ณ ที่นั่น
ná têe nân
There.
At 04:03 I used an interesting expression. นี่ขนาด...แล้วนะ (nêe kà-nàat ...láew ná) is another cool pattern to use. It means "I went out of my way to do something but still...(I fail)".
In the video, I said นี่ขนาดเรามาเช้าแล้วนะ (nêe kà-nàat rao maa cháo láew ná). Meaning, I went out of my way to wake up early in the morning to get the queue but still (the line was still so long and I had to wait for a long time).
- นี่ขนาดฝึกวันละ 3 แล้วนะ
êe kà-nàat fèuk wan lá săam láew ná
I did extra work, I went out of my way and practice 3hours/day but still (that effort wasn't enough)
- นี่ขนาดกินอาหารดีๆแล้วนะ
nêe kà-nàat gin aa-hăan dee dee láew ná
tried so hard, I went out of my way and eat good food every day but still (my hard effort didn't pay off)
