ต้นไม้ที่อยู่ข้างหลังเกรสนี้

dtôn mái têe yùu kâang lǎng grace níi

is a bamboo tree.

คือ ต้นไผ่

keu dtôn pài

"dtôn pài" is bamboo in English.

ต้นไผ่คือ bamboo ในภาษาอังกฤษ

dtôn pài keu bamboo nai paasăa ang-grìt

This bamboo tree has huge benefits.

ต้นไผ่นี้มีประโยชน์มหาศาล

dtôn pài níi mii prà-yòt má-hăa-săan

"mee bprà-yòht" is "to be useful".

มีประโยชน์ คือ to be useful

mii prà-yòt keu to be useful

"má-hăa săan" is "super super duper".

มหาศาล คือ super super duper

má-hăa-săan keu super super duper

It has many benefits because

มีประโยชน์มหาศาลเพราะว่า

mii prà-yòt má-hăa-săan pròr wâa

one is you can take it to eat it.

หนึ่ง คือ เอามา กินได้

Bamboo trees help protect soil erosion.

ต้นไผ่ก็ช่วยป้องกัน soil erosion.

which in Thai is "gaan pang tá-laai kŏng din"

ซึ่งภาษาไทยก็คือการพังทลายของดิน

sèung paasăa Thai gôr keu gaan pang tá-laai kŏng din

because its roots help is capture

เพราะว่า รากของมัน ช่วย ยึด

prór wâa râak kŏng man chûai yúet

"yéut" is like "to hold on to it".

ยึด is like to hold on to it.

yúet keu like to hold on to it

Helps hold on to the ground.

ช่วยยึดดินไว้

chûai yúet din wái

And it helps protect against the wind too.

แล้วก็ช่วยป้องกันลมด้วย

láew gôr chûai pông gan lom dûai

Third is, bamboo trees
