Monthly video suggestion poll!
Added 2022-03-13 03:50:20 +0000 UTCHere seem to be the four most popular options suggested in the comments for us to make a video on.
A lot of the suggested topics we already have vids we're working on, so that's why they may not appear in this poll.
Votes in future polls will be limited to those paying $3 +, but everyone gets a vote in this one because we're so kind.

Maybe some thoughts on independents running this election in 'safe' seats? /Broadly the purpose, pros and cons of independents in parliament.

2022-03-31 23:38:37 +0000 UTCI’m in QLD now, but can you do some stuff on Mathew Guy in Vic. He is as dodgy as they come and there will be treasure trove of corrupt stuff to uncover.
2022-03-15 09:56:20 +0000 UTCSeparate from this NSW Train Shut-down. What are the unions asking for? And (ofcourse) further reasons why David Elliot screwed up

2022-03-15 06:06:49 +0000 UTCThick as two short planks. Preferential voting is simple: number the candidates in order of preference starting at 1 for your favourite down to Zed being last. Some ballots require all boxes, some only need a dozen instructions are provided by AEC at the polling place.
2022-03-14 08:15:09 +0000 UTCoops. i voted all 4. May as well have donkey voted, but all are great topics i know you guys will do justice
2022-03-14 06:09:02 +0000 UTCi'd say do all 4

2022-03-14 01:20:49 +0000 UTCVoting for the underdog - why Albo is a nice guy. Even if it's just a compilation of clips from previous vids on him, I think it would go far with people like my mum who don't pay much attention to policy but think Scomo's slimy af and would stand to benefit from Albo's policies :)
2022-03-13 23:43:16 +0000 UTCWe really need to raise Albo's profile, and I think if you did a video that would help. But also, can't deny the importance of explaining preferential voting lol

2022-03-13 15:01:19 +0000 UTCYou can vote twice? But yeah, they all sound like good ideas ngl

2022-03-13 14:05:54 +0000 UTCShame we can't vote twice. Videos on white-anting and AGL/coal would be fantastic. I voted for white-anting because I know a few former CSIRO staff and they were very unhappy about it last time we chatted Edit: I'm dumb. Can vote twice
2022-03-13 13:48:20 +0000 UTCGiven that there is already a ton of "how to vote" videos (JUST SEARCH FOR IT YOU IDIOTS!!!) voting for that is a complete waste of resources. Whereas the white-anting of the Bom & CSIRO are major issues the MSM & Legacy media ae completely ignoring. And I'm stunned that peanut gallery here didn't select the Gladys Liu thing. Your target audience and fanbase are fucking dumb Friendlyjordies! I mean, "how to vote?" Gimme a break. Auspol does this. Are you the only thing they watch on Youtube? Have they not heard of Swollen Pickles? Knights In Shining Llama? And we wonder how the Libs get in. Aussies. Dumb as bricks.
2022-03-13 11:26:41 +0000 UTCHow to vote video. Too many idiots have no idea how preferences work and just blindly follow the How to Vote card. And I'll finally have something to share with people about it.

2022-03-13 10:17:41 +0000 UTCA real straight laced presentation of the facts regarding Albo as a person.
THOMAS
2022-03-13 09:18:42 +0000 UTCCan we do the Albo one now and the voting one a couple of weeks before the election?
2022-03-13 09:00:22 +0000 UTCHow to Vote should be closer to the election I reckon. All topics are good though.

2022-03-13 08:42:20 +0000 UTCFor real though people needing a how to vote video is a huge worry for me

2022-03-13 05:45:52 +0000 UTCThen youll be voting for clive palmer. Your vote will literally weaken this county over some anti-science, anti-fact ideology.

2022-03-13 05:39:59 +0000 UTCHOW TO VOTE thats the most important thing. Im ashamed to have never done it, and i dont want to fuck it up.

2022-03-13 05:36:27 +0000 UTCThese are all great ideas, and I'd like to see vids for all of them. But I think the most important is the one I voted for (which is currently in the lead). Thanks. Hope you manage to figure how to enforce a minimum contribution rule for next time ;)

2022-03-13 05:22:39 +0000 UTCWe really need something other than an ancient, pixelated DVD from the electrical commission that was somehow uploaded to YouTube over a decade ago to explain Australia's voting process. As much as I like that old thing, something else is desperately needed.
2022-03-13 05:00:38 +0000 UTCWe really need something to counter the idea that voting doesn't matter. I'm so tired of every election cycle having people deliberately dropping an informal ballot just to complain about the government they refused to vote out.
2022-03-13 04:59:14 +0000 UTCANY politician that supports Covid jabs will NEVER get my vote so looks like I will be struggling to cast a valid vote in future

2022-03-13 04:56:44 +0000 UTCWhy Albo is - not only a nice guy (easily explained in comparison to "smirknmirrors") but why Albo is strong, informed, has integrity, is a leader, is against corruption, genuinely cares about people, families, the workers, the every day person. He doesn't force hand shakes. What are his ethics? what are his core values as an Australian? Put up in lights the things that the swing voters can see and feel, are the most obvious reasons why Albo has to be our next PM. Appeal to peoples' emotions, get the right part of our brains firing to make the right choice. Read "Running Against the Devil" by Rick Wilson for more ideas. :)

2022-03-13 04:24:07 +0000 UTCMuch as everything else would be interesting, how to vote is the most constructive generally.
Jarryd Ladhams
2022-03-13 04:22:17 +0000 UTCPreferential voting is the most important thing that punters need to understand and currently don't for the election. With all the RWFW parties banging on about freedom and simply funnelling preferences to the lnp people need to understand the easy version is #PutTheLNPLast
2022-03-13 04:13:26 +0000 UTCPeople vote on personalities and we need a story about Anthony Albanese's achievements and his leadership style Kathryn
2022-03-13 04:12:23 +0000 UTCNo one gets preferences unless you really give a shit; probably the best video for a wider audience
Jackson Dutton
2022-03-13 04:08:18 +0000 UTCall for a voting explanation but i still think a video needs to be made on chicken run
2022-03-13 03:58:44 +0000 UTCYeah I agree. I feel like more ppl would be inclined to share this and it might leave more or a good impression than a how-to-vote even though they're both important. I feel like how-to-vote videos will prolly get a bit over saturated as the election draws near (especially on Fbook) and get ignored.
2022-03-13 03:56:10 +0000 UTCNot just why Albo is good on the personal level but go into his political accomplishments too. It'd be good to have a short "why he's a legend" video that encompasses him as a person and a politician.
