Okay. I watched this video on YouTube a moment ago and you get an immediate sub. I made the first controversial tweet of my life last December. Pointing out that despite being the 2nd most streamed female rapper in australia of 2020 (and a completely independent artist no less) I had never received support from triple j government radio. Hmmmmm. Long story short. Multiple hosts proceeded to dog pile me and straw man my argument. Like clock work, multiple articles were written about my tweet taking my sentiment out of context (tonedeaf... musicfeed... complete scourge of journalism) so my music isn’t important but my fucking tweet apparently is? So fucking transparent. I grew up in the lowest socioeconomic tier in Australia, went to poor country public schools, and despite all odds. Here I am succeeding as an artist. So go figure these private school cunts absolutely hate my existence and dont support/play my shit. Anyway, I formally reminded the abc that they had just breached their clause of impartiality and had set a clear precedent to any other small independent musicians that witnessed my complete slaughtering by the tribe of Twitter blue tiks that they had better not dare criticise our government funded culture overlords. Well ... by the end of the exchange the staff where forced to do mandated EMPATHY TRAINING by the content director of hack/triple j/unearthed. At the time I literally wanted nothing more than to pull a friendly jordies and show just how fucking out of line it was to my ever loving audience... I was encouraged by past hosts of triple j to kept this entire exchange private and deal with it “professionally”. Watching your video was therapeutic and I just kinda of wish that I had of just fucking lost my shit in video format about it at the time ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Oh, and I've just seen the hilarious Tweets from the Pedestrian editor in question where she says it was in Lululemon. LULULEMON.
