Already as in love as I expected with how Hannibal Digested is shaping up so far -- I particularly appreciated the shout-out to El Sandifer's previous series of episode-by-episode writeups, which for me played a similar role as to 20th-Century Who in mediating my early exposure to a now-personally beloved TV series. Also, the way you discuss the conceptual and casting triumph of this version of Freddie Lounds was spot on to why I always loved the character so much. (I have similar levels of love for both Deadwood and Boardwalk Empire, so now I'll have to start mentally grouping them with Hannibal and Who in the list of cases of my tastes overlapping strongly with the aesthetics of the Eruditorum School.)
