2023-05-15 18:13:11 +0000 UTCAh yes, The World Is Not Enough, the last pretty decent Brosnan Bond, quite fun but not the best, but they can't all be the best now can they? Be prepared for the last one though Die Another Day; on one hand it's filled with nods and references to the previous movies (which is fun! Can you spot any?) on the other hand it's without doubt one of the worst Bonds ever. Silly plot, campy villains, truckloads and truckloads of unnecessary CGI which already looked cheap the day it was released, a couple of instances where they "jump the shark", some pretty bad acting and a bunch of horrible dialogues... as a fan I've always found it a hard one to watch. I can still remember myself as a 17 year old leaving the cinemas feeling completely devestated; asif you've just seen somebody completely destroy something you hold very close to your heart... I even thought Bond was now dead to me. Good thing they went for a complete overhaull with Craig, the franchise got a fresh new start with him.
