I wanted to post during the weekend but I didn't have time between the new house remodeling and that I thought my Cintiq broke yesterday ToT it took quite some time to get the issue fixed but everything is ok now, it was a boring weekend overall lol!
I have a few new sketchbook pages that I haven't posted anywhere yet so here's a little sketch dump.
I got some markers from the folks at Stationery Island a couple of days ago, our collaboration was supposed to be back in october! I definitely thought the package was totally lost after all these months and I wasn't expecting to receive anything at all, so it was a nice surprise. The markers are so much better than I imagined, the ink flow is great and I was lucky enough to get a lot of colors, which makes the blending a lot easier (these have only bullet tips). So yeah, I'm having lots of fun trying them out!
I know the page with the different characters looks awful, but it's because the paper isn't really good for alcohol markers, it's too much plasticky, even copics work weird on that sketchbook. (the freestyle from artgecko, poscas in the other hand, work beautifully)
I also had a lot of fun with the gold galaxy page, I def want to make a bigger spread and take some photos to take you though the process, it's nothing out of this world lol but it's very simple, relaxing and I love how it looks!!
