Hello guys!! Hope you're doing fantastic 🐥✨

Here's a small but highly requested tutorial on how I approach drawing hair! This is what I do 99% of the time, not a mind blowing process at all lol but hope it helps!

Just for extra clarification, this is what I mean by selecting with the lasso. The first pic shows how my selections normally look, then I apply a bit of gradient from a side (trying to avoid painting the whole selection) and second pic is how it should look! You can make it as subtle as you want.

I really enjoy how the hard edges/shapes of the lasso look with a soft gradient inside, it's such a cool effect in my opinion!

Anyways, as an artist who works very intuitively and based on a "gut feeling" most of the time, rationalizing my process can be really hard sometimes. That's why doing tutorials isn't really my cup of tea, but I know it's something that you guys are interested in so I'll try to do more of these in the future. Another topic that has been highly requested is how I draw bodies / faces so I think I'll definitely go on that direction for the next one!
