Sketches, doodles + lil life updates 🍊☀️

Hello my dear patrons! How're you doing?? 🍒✨🐤

Today I have just a few sketchbook pages and some messy doodles to share. I haven't been drawing that much lately, but I wanted to catch up with you because I feel I've been a bit quiet.

Long story short: We're supposed to move next Wednesday but our new kitchen won't be installed and ready until July 10th, so we're planning on asking if que can stay two weeks more in this apartment we're currently in. I really don't want to put more money into this flat or delaying the moving, but those two weeks could really make a difference for us to tackle more things we need to do for the house and make the process less "shocking". We don't even know if the person who rent us this place will agree, so we'll have to see. This whole situation is keeping me bit nervous, tbh. I just want this to be over 😂

Anyways, here's some stuff I drew I think last week, when I tried some new acrylic pens I got from people over at Morfone !

I really enjoyed using them, the work very similar to Poscas :) here's something I never get to finish

And here're more messy doodles that make no sense 

These past few days I've been working on my last cover for Avengers #5, which I have no idea when it will be released, but here's a little sneak peak for u !! 🤫

And lastly, here's a wip of a new thing I saw going around on Twitter, the shirt cut meme. I wanted to do something quickly to relax and to "connect" to art again ? hope I can finish this today ! This is supposed to be the mermaid of my story Landlocked :)

More random things:

- I've been listening to Avril Lavigne songs like A LOT

- I want to move my website to Squarespace so I've been slowly working on it. I think that's another reason why I haven't been drawing much 😂I don't know why it's so addictive, but I spent a ton of time setting up the new site already and I could keep going for days and days. It's fun and relaxing 🤷‍♀️

- I got an Iphone! I'm sorry if this sounds so ridiculously materialistic 😅 I never really cared for cellphones until I had my Ipad for a while and started to notice how much I used it to post stuff instead of my phone. Instagram (and many other apps I use) work a million times better in iOS than Android (most people I know used to tell me this, but I refused to believe it)  so after a lot of thinking, I decided to upgrade my phone and I hope it will last me well, FOREVER and will help me to keep creating cool content too. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to invest in something like this.

- I was asked to do a cover for BOOM! Studios and that really made my entire week.  I always wanted to work with them!! I'm really excited to start, it will be so much fun.
