New Dimash!

Well, he was truly all over the place with this one. A little bit of everything in here. I think I really understand him now, he’s using almost every style of singing all at once, in an attempt to unify music in the same way he wants to unify the world.

What a beautiful musician and human being. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’›

I enjoyed breaking down this song, I hope you do too!

Dear Tim, thanks so much for your amazing analysis of Dimash's singing. I've listened to so many reactions to Sinful Passion and you're the only who's been able answer a question I've had for ever so long. And that is, the name of the trill Dimash used. The closes I could determine was that it was called an Opera Trill. Now thanks to your wealth of knowledge, I've finally found out that it's called the Monteverdi Trill. YES!! Quest complete! Grateful thanks to you for that gem. BTW, for your next time Dimash reaction you can don sharp claws because you really remind me of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. πŸ˜„

You're next Dimash reaction should be "Ave Maria". not what I expected, but powerfully moving.

I've watched all of your Dimash reactions, and, as usual, you did not disappoint. One thing that has been a mystery to me is, I've only seen one reactor comment on his stage presence, it just sets the tone for his performance and adds so much to his songs. I heard one teacher state that he had to have started his voice training pre-puberty to get that incredible range, training for hours a day.

Love your reactions to Dimash!

I’m with you on this. Although I recognize the talent and have mad respect for it… doesn’t pull my heartstrings πŸ˜…πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ But you know - isn’t it amazing that we are allowed our different opinions…if everyone liked the same things… how boring would that be? 🫢

I respect your honesty about your taste! Nothing wrong with sharing your truth here.

I might be the only person on this planet who doesn't like both Dimash's and Sam Tomkins' voices so I skip this one πŸ™‚ Talented as they are (and I respect this of course): Dimash doesn't stir me emotionally at all and it's not the problem of the musical genre or language. Sam has a couple of cool songs where he doesn't sound so '80ies "boy band-ish" or like Mariah Carey on steroids. For me, Sam's hit or miss, something I don't experience with other artists.

It made so happy to watch you react to Sinful Passion!!! So much fun to see someone react the way I did when I first heard it. It is one of my top Dimash favs. I am looking forward to when you will have time to hear his version of Ave Maria. It's incredible, in my opinion.
