I Just Interviewed Fil from @WingsofPegasus

I was so honored that Fil wanted to come on my channel to announce his new website which went active today, just moments ago!
Fil has an exciting new initiative that he is pushing out and he shared it with me in this interview.
This is the first interview I’ve ever done on the channel and it was a blast.
Let me know what you think.
* ALSO, I’m excited to announce that I have clarity on the new set up over here for my PATREON! All about community. I’ll be sending a message about that tomorrow.
I hope you have an amazing rest of your weekend and I’ll see you in the chats!
Cheers,
Tim
I’ve been following you since last year and have enjoyed every moment until now. Fil judges musicians by using “scientific evidence, not opinion”…. The thing is, he finds one little area where a song was synced and then picks up the ball and runs with it.
He judges musicians and “calls them out” making the artists look like frauds. Has he actually been at a concert and recorded the song and THEN say it’s not live singing? No, he hasn’t.
He has done this to Celine Dion’s performance at the 2024 Olympics. The woman is dying for god’s sake!!!! Give her what is probably one of her last moments to shine FFS, FIL 🤦♀️ WHO CARES if the whole entire performance was lip synced/enhanced?!?! She is Celine freaking Dion! He should have left her alone!!
That one pissed me off the most but, he did the same with a Taylor Swift song, looping one small part of one song at multiple shows. The concert was 3.5 hours straight! If he knew ANYTHING about her concert by actually being at one, he would know she never takes a break at any point at her concerts. None! When she sends her backup and band on breaks, she will play acoustic until they return.
Also, if he knew anything at her concerts, it would be that sometimes she misses a note, or goes off key for a half second, or her guitar was on the wrong note and she stops and says sorry, wrong note and then starts playing again.
Do you have any idea in that little “bombshell” exposure reaction had people saying oh yeah, she’s a fake… Swifties paid good money to watch lip synced shows… blah blah blah… 🤬
Don’t even get me started on a Dimash song he pulled that shit with either. I know I’m on free tier right now because I was struggling a bit and had to help my daughter and grand kids with food & some expenses. I planned on upping my membership again but, I just can’t with this Fil thing. Good luck to you and thank you for the wonderful reactions up until now. 🤬💔😔👋

It was an interesting video, and in my opinion a good addition to the sort of material you post in channel. It's very on brand for you, and will be discoverable by people who come to you for specific artists. More so if you reference it in future videos.
Hi idea is akin to the 'organic' label idea or the European boosted 'non GMO' one that have both been applied to foods for a good bit. Companies that were compliant were happy to get the official seal. Those that were not, created their own variants that were designed to confuse the marketplace. Those have still not been shaken out.
I'm sure a number of performers will have in interest in getting his mark, but unless someone with weight (A Billie, or Chappell for example) gets on and uses it and talks about it, he'll have a hard path in building visibility and mass.
While a lot of people are pissed off about non-live shows they paid a mint for, I'm not sure it's the sort of thing that will have enough consumers caring about it to make a movement for it grow,
I hope he does catch a wave though. It's a good idea and with the AI things we'll be seeing in the next year and onward 'reality' will become increasingly questionable. And things like his concept are one of the few things that can press back on that.

I will be curious to see how widely Fil’s plan is accepted by those in the music industry. Obviously, artists who sing legitimately live won’t have a problem with it, but I suspect many singers, record labels and TV show producers won’t be on board with it.

What an interesting concept from Fil! I have been following him for several years and have a lot of respect for him in his quest for authenticity in their music. Good on you for joining his cause.

The Warning had a lot of reactors in their early years and most were from fellow rockers but a few musicians and sound engineers and many other music minded people and artists along with their professional analysis. I heard Fil’s reaction to the girls and his professional knowledge as you know is ever growing. Then recently i found your reaction to the girls and I started following your channels for the same reason. No surprise that the two of you are interacting. I spent 2 years (74-76) stationed in England where you are a taxi, bus or short train ride away from great concert or festival. It was so frustrating to listen to a vinyl show up to the concert and find a band or performance that was nothing like performance track I listened too. But the actual performance was a complete letdown because it was only possible in the studio. I think what you guys are saying. I’ve had people get really pissed when i heard it and they just could not believe it.
