So here we meet: Ozzy: the Sin of Lust, presides as lord of the lust ring, modelled after a rooster π Verosica: Blitz' ex, she's a succubus and a famous pop star. Pink skin, white hair and a crossed out tatoo on her arm. Fizz: Blitz' ex friend, a famous jestor, has robot limbs (you will find out why). Voiced by Alex Brightman.

2025-08-05 20:05:31 +0000 UTCYou finally got to meet another of the 7 deadly sins this episode, you already know of Lucifer from Hazbin being the ruler of hell and ruler of the pride ring, and now Asmodeus, the ruler of the lust ring. Also not sure if someone mentioned before, but the voice actor for Fizzarolli, the imp jester that sings with Azmodeus, is the same voice actor for Adam and Sir Pentious (the snake) in Hazbin Hotel, Alex Brightman has such an amazing voice, hes really well known for his role as Beetlejuice on broadway.

2025-08-05 19:26:23 +0000 UTCI really love this episode, it gives such depth to Stolas and Blitz's complicated relationship and sets up a lot of themes for season 2. And day-um James Monroe Iglehart (Asmodeus) can sing! Just a little background note about the next episode, even though its the season 1 finale it technically didn't come out until after season 2 started because of legal issues. Kesha actually voices a character in it, and wrote and performed a song for it, but they had trouble getting it approved to air from her label. In the end they had to get someone else to perform the actual song in the show, but Kesha still voices the character's speaking parts. And another little tidbit of context, since the show isn't super explicit about it, the geography of Hell is set up in 7 'rings'. This episode takes place in the Lust ring, the Western one where we meet Millie's family is in the Wrath ring, and IMP is set up in the Pride ring, the only one where human souls can go. Each of the rings belongs to the jurisdiction of one of the seven 'Sins', with Asmodeus being the Sin of Lust. Next episode we meet the Sin of Gluttony, Beelzebub. The Sins are just above the Goetia (bird demons like Stolas) in Hell's hierarchy. Season 2 plays with a lot of themes surrounding hierarchy and class differences.

Asmodeus, our amazing Sin of Lust is played by broadway legend and tony award winner James Monroe Iglehart (Fizzarolli is of course once again Alex Brightman and this time is not a robot but the real one!) From now on music is much more prominent in the show. Also, there are 7 rings of Hell ruled by the 7 deadly sins: Pride (where IMP office is and where Sinners are), Lust, Greed, Wrath, Gluttony, Envy and Sloth. Sinners can't leave the Pride Ring, while hellborn can travel through them by the elevator and others gates. Some things you probably didn't notice: when Blitz went home we can see a lot of pictures on the wall and his face is scratched out from every single one of them; in the pictures on Bli'tz phone we can see one with him and Stolas, but Stolas is asleep so Blitz took that pictore himself, and another two with Blitz and a young Fizzarolli, witch means they knew eachothers as children; in those pictures of his childhood Blitz doesn't have his white scars.
