Unfortunately, I noticed something I did not like with the 3d and the shader on the seats and a few more objects in the cockpit. So I went to work remodelling the seats, removing many duplicate faces, sometimes quadruple faces. I also took the opportunity to split the necessary objects and move the passenger seat back a bit, in line with the driver seat. I also improved the stitching and general interior. It's interesting that the original model was such a mess, that by the time I remodel every single bit, I am expecting more than 50% performance increase in that aspect. Of course, that takes a very long time. But I'm learning so much doing it, so it's cool.
I'm going to have to push the update release date to this week or weekend now because of this. To be fair, it was Mother's Day yesterday too, and family comes first. β€οΈ
This is what I worked on:
Fixed, cleaned, improved and optimised more of the general 3d with over 4hrs of work
Improved further interior UV and AO mapping
Fixed and improved stitching shader and texture
Fixed passenger seat position
Fixed rear window logo to be visible from inside too
Improved further rear bumper UV and AO mapping
Improved 4 more textures
Improved several metal shaders
