So this week's cover is... weird. I figured the previous cuphead cover would have been a bit too strange since it was like big band swing metal stuff
This one is basically salsacore. I've joked about such things existing in the past, but this is legitimate salsacore. I don't know what else to call it.
Anyway, I got about 3 million requests to cover this and BOY WAS IT A DOOZY - this song is HARD. The timing of the instruments is completely different than what I'm used to, and I even took it upon myself to play what I think is a trumpet solo on guitar - which was not easy. at all.
But, uh... I think it sounds neat. I hope you do too!!!
The conclusion to the Touhou series is coming up soon - but fret not! While I plan on taking a break for a while from 2hu, I very much plan on revisiting it at a later date since the fanbase is awesome and people are CONSTANTLY requesting more touhou stuff (there's about 3498765397846 songs yet to cover apparently lol)
Other than that, very busy. Lots of projects. I won't me going to MAGfest this year, unfortunately, so I think the next con I plan on attending will likely be either PAX or Momocon next year. It's fine though cuz it seems like I've been attending at least one con per month for the past 2 years... It's exhausting. It'll be nice to take a bit of a break from the con circuit for a bit.
I also still need to finish the Exodus tabs. I'm very sorry about that - I've literally not had the time to complete it. Expect that soon.
