They’re going to need an NWO booming effect. All In is like a taste for many who wants to be a major star. If anything, that would encourage them to go to WWE, if the report about less popularity equal great concern is true. But really, they need to get momentum going.

James

Compared to last year’s Grand Slam, with 33 days until show, the distributed count was 5,252, so down -31% this year (which I think is pretty close to the overall average attendance change year to date, around -27%). If the final count were also down -31%, that would be around 7,765 (not ideal, obviously, but not a terrible number either, I think, even in a 20k seat venue)

Sergio

Now it makes sense why they're skipping Wembley next year. Smart move.

Seymour Butts

Next year they should consider the Louis Armstrong Stadium for Grand Slam. Arthur Ashe now appears too big for a TV taping, but could host a PPV.

Despy

Yikes. They really, really need to start publicizing this and push this hard. Lower prices, get the wrestlers all over NYC media, advertising, etc. All Out in Chicago already has close to 6,000 tickets sold and there will probably be a lot of walk-ups/last week sales. That show will be fine. Grand Slam needs to be the priority as soon as All In is over with. I mean this is a 20,000+ seat stadium. If they use Arthur Ashe Stadium next year it should be a PPV. Move All Out to two weeks later and have it be at Arthur Ashe Stadium to take the place of the Grand Slam Dynamite.

PMB

Can they make all tickets like $20 or something? This is depressing.

David G

Hopefully this will be the last year of Grand Slam as a Television program. The law of diminishing returns has struck this venue hard. This needs to be a PPV event arena from now on.

This show needs help. I feel like aew use to do like a takeover of NY and it feels like such a lack
