But seriously, AEW has been very very good lately, Hangman is a big part of that (and it's as close to his hometown as they'll get, so he's a big local draw), and the announced 8-man tag (which doesn't come out of nowhere but ties into multiple ongoing feuds, so isn't subject to the usual bad-faith criticism) has massive star power and talent enough to be amazing as a match. In short, they're doing exactly what needs to be done. And it's beginning to pay off.
