Lots to say and vlogs are a bit messy and disorganised so I thought I'd write this one, to start out with, It Takes you Away video:

Then: I'm gonna take a big-long 3-4 week break from releasing anything. I'm gonna use this time to finish all 7 videos for Popular content week (my 10K subs special I've mentioned before - they're all fairly short and I've begun recording some of them so it seems doable) and make a headstart on Class 9.

I was originally planning on releasing Class 9 on March the 29th - Brexit day cause it kinda has undertones of intergenerational conflict in it but March 29th is kinda up in the air now, no one knows what the hell's gonna happen so I guess its not important any more. I'll try and have it mostly done by around late March though.

I may not get a chance to get all Patron faces in videos in March - kinda given myself some ambitious projects here.

I knew I'd have to do this break eventually, and I know I'm probably not gonna hit 10k subs before the end of March, I'd just like to have this special ready to go. (That and I've kinda folded the possibility that I hit 10k, start releasing them and then lose a few subscribers into the plotline of the 7 video-long series - very excited to show this project off)

So once we get to the end of March, if I'm not at 10k by then, I'm gonna start on some shorter projects I've been saving that're likely to do well and get the sub counter really going, including the following that I've been scribbling away at for some time:

A look at Buffy Season 6 - particularly season 6 as my opinion on its changed over time and I found the reason for that interesting.

How I would fix 13 Reasons why

If anyone can think of another TV show that's a big subject in the whole Youtube video essay scene then I'd be really grateful, I'd quite like to find another goldmine for view counters like Bojack Horseman was. Its really random, Rick and Morty videos don't do too well, Bojack Horseman ones do amazing....

I FINISHED MY BOOK!!

4 years. 4 months. 50k words.

Its now got the framing device which I've told you about running through it in short bursts, its thematically and narratively cohesive, I think it makes sense and...yeah, done. I've sent it to Rob and he's agreed to give me some advice on it, its still never gonna be normal to me that I'm friends with my favourite writer. Been toying with the idea of offering the draft to you guys as a beta-test, see what you think.
