General Updates - May 2019

Apologies for the lack of updates in the last couple of weeks. It's been a very busy time at work and I haven't had as much time to work on videos for YouTube. This is going to continue through a very busy June as we enter the summer.
The next video to be published will be on June 1st. This will cover the German Navy's 'Plan Z' prior to WW2, with some of the Royal Navy's own plans included for good measure.
The first draft of this video's script has been published for Commander patrons if you want to check that out.
After this video the next won't be until July 27th. This is because of the aforementioned busy July and my own desire to take a few weeks off YouTube work completely. Though it may not seem it with how infrequent my videos can be, I have been working on video after video for over a year now, and I think I need some to recharge a little over the summer.
The subject of the July video will be the 1944/45 Siege of Budapest, which will be part of a larger Hungarian collaboration with other YouTubers.
Beyond that, I will then be doing the long-promised D-Day series. I've been delaying this in part because of a whole rash of new books coming out on the subject, which I want to include in my research. This series will be at least four videos long, and my mindset is that I will work on each for as long as needed to make them as good as possible.
In general I am going to move away from giving definitive release date updates like this, and instead give you updates on my progress on individual videos. I've found that setting dates long ahead of time tends to lead to them slipping anyway.
