Added 2021-02-19 10:51:24 +0000 UTCFor the final location of this opening round, Carenza Lewis shares a Lincolnshire site that is literally brimming with archaeological anomalies – an Iron Age hoard depository, a Roman barrow, a potential Anglo-Saxon settlement, a deserted Medieval village, a Bishop's palace and now... a modern University campus complete with artificial lake!
In fact, there's so much going on that Tim calls it an 'archaeological theme park'. We've given it the slightly more poetic name of 'palimpsest' – a favourite term of Mick Aston to describe a complex site with interweaving developments from various time periods layered atop of one another.
Situated on Carenza's home turf at the University of Lincoln, it might seem an obvious contender and a safe bet. Yet with so many potential targets to choose from, can the team sharpen the focus to one key area? As always, let us know what you think in the comments below.

I love that you could dig anywhere! And even if TT doesn't dig there, I hope someone does before it gets destroyed in the next phase of the Uni's life.
