Honorary mention

We'd like to make an honorary mention of the fantastic 'Gingerbread Pickering Castle and Church' by Lawrence Shaw and Jo Pickering. It was quite the creation, although in fairness, Lawrence has already claimed far too much Time Team merchandise as it is!

Comments

125g bacon 2 leeks 500g of mixed smoked fish 1l of milk 300ml cream 2tbsp chives 1tsp salt Fry the bacon until the fat comes away, add the leeks and cook until tender. Add the fish and cover with the milk. Cook for 30 mins, add the cream, salt and chives. Done! Makes about 4 servings.

Bronwen here, thank you for the wonderful comments on my entry! A few people were asking about recipes so here's the recipe for the stew:

Mud Slide looks amazing too. Put me in mind of Brucie from the film 'Matilda,' lol!
