One thing I don't understand is why just 3 days? I can understand when you're digging up someone's back yard they don't want a year long excavation, but in this site, where it's relatively well contained and not immediately next to dwellings, why doesn't there seem to be an ongoing excavation to get as much information as possible? The TT section may be just 3 days, but why doesn't someone else continue with it ... or have TT come back later to see what else has been found?
