Chris Bate

I wasn't able to watch last night. Is it available as a recording and if so how?

Dr Richard Mellish

Hi Anthony, following the feedback of patrons from earlier sessions hosted on Crowdcast, we are trialling other options to find the platform that works best for as many people as possible. It's under continual review, so we welcome any comments on the experience to feed into future sessions.

Time Team

Thank you to the team for a fascinating insight to your reflections on the dig. Banter between Stuart and John - hilarious as ever and wonderfully facilitated. Thank you everyone and more please

Sue Tweedie

Are all these going to be on Zoom? Some places Zoom is banned, blocked, and/or flat out barred from being on any devices.

The most fascinating part of the dig was examining the tomb/crypt underneath the chapel. Where there any 3D scans done on the coffins? They were quite ornate. I understand there are procedures, processes and ethical considerations when exhuming coffins/human remains. Would you have had to go thru the church and relatives to exhume/remove the coffins? It would have been nice to have 3D scans for the virtual museum of the coffins. The were quit ornate. Plus would you have had to damage the chapel floor to facilitate removal of the coffins? It would have been nice to explore that area more but I assume time was of the essence. Sorry for the long-winded comment. Thanks, Todd

Todd Gillespie

Given that you appear not to have found any conclusive evidence of the preceptory buildings, how certain are you that you were digging in the right place?

Stuart Barry

I have a Knights Hospitaller preceptory near where I stay in Scotland, part of the church still in existence due to it being adapted into the parish church. How rare are existing hospitaller buildings? Torphichen preceptory really is amazing!

David Buck

Going to do my best to sit in on this! ๐Ÿ’—

To me, these sessions are just as interesting and fun to watch as the digs. Can I just add that I really enjoy seeing the camera/ production crew, drone operator and all the other tech people that years ago would be hidden out of shot but are now shown on camera while they work. Very cool.

Patricia Amero

Iโ€™ve got a question for any (or all!) of the TT crew; How is this incarnation of TT different to the last (tv)version? Thanks!

Mark Freestone

Hi Ingrid, sorry you can't be there. We will share a reply for those unable to make it live so you can watch later. Thanks

Time Team

What a pity I am working so canโ€™t join you

Ingrid Mayer

I was going to ask about this as it was something I enjoyed about the last episodes was the online catch up with the team. Thank you for doing this :-) โค๏ธ
